Basically, exactly how I feel in my situation right now. It hurts more to want it than to not have it. And it’s the right thing to do. So now I can stop relying on how it might be one if you ever look my way and not to your past, and I can focus on how I want things to be for myself. Because involving you makes me crazy and insecure and I need someone who will see me, the person standing there right in front of them, holding their hand through everything, and not picture it being someone else. I deserve better. And I know it now.
